Hints and Tips

• If the person being treated wears glasses or contacts, remove before starting.
• Provide young children with a book, video or other distraction that will help them relax and sit quietly while combing out hair.
• For longer hair, pin hair up and apply to nape of neck first. Then apply solution to the rest of the hair.
• LiceMD® is very slippery. Clean up spills immediately with hot water and soap.

I have a 15 yr old (girl) and 12 yr old (boy).  We discovered a louse in her hair when she pulled one out of her wet head after a shower.   They had both been complaining of itching, but we thought it because of chlorine.  We thought she was the cause, but it was the boy who had it bad.  We treated her head first with NIX.  The process was tedious and painful.  Her hair would dry out in the middle of the "cleaning".  It caused the treatment to be incomplete; not to mention the smell of the medicated shampoo (yuk!)  As a result, we found more nits and live lice a second time.  We saw your video and bought LiceMD® right away.  We treated my son and found several lice, all dead.  The gel allows the comb to do its job.  My daughter has hair to the middle of her back.  The odorless gel was great.  We got all of the lice and nits in the first pass.  It took a while, but we could go over and over, checking and re-checking to make sure we got the mall because the gel made the hair manageable and no odor to fight.  We traced it back to a trip to a paintball party.  The boy must have picked them up wearing a helmet and ended up using his sister's brush - the rest is history.  And thanks to your amazing product, so are the lice and nits in our house!!!  I don't know what we would have done if we didn't find your website.  Thanks for all of the educational information available on your site and thanks again for your product!

As a teacher, I am well aware of the number of families that just do not break the cycle of lice infestation. Therefore, I was sick when I discovered lice on my own daughter's head.
